I loved this episode! All about laundry! Our first washer was a Maytag wringer style in 1953. Mother was ecstatic! We lived in Chicago with pulley clotheslines high above the alleyways. Women contacted each other so washdays would not clash. We had a new baby and it was important that all diapers were blinding white or other women gossiped about the mother who dared put them on display! By the time I was married as a teen, I was clueless about laundry and turned out the same pink disasters
